  • However, either team can appeal the call with video evidence. Video can be submitted to the FWPL committee. The committee can determine if the act of brutality was not called correctly by the official and the punishment can be removed or lessened.

Bracket Tie-Breaker Rules

  • Points will be awarded to each team in the following way – 4 points – Regulation Win; 3 points – Shootout Win; 2 points – Shootout Loss; 1 point – Regulation Loss; 0 points – Forfeit.
  • Tie Breaker System – Two Teams: If the point totals of two teams are the same, head-to-head competition will be used to break the tie.
  • Tie Breaker System – Three or More Teams: If more than two teams are tied in points, goal differential amongst the teams tied serves as the tiebreaker to determine the best team within the group until only two teams remain. The final two teams use their head-to-head results to break the tie. If the top two teams based on goal differential are tied, the tie is broken with the results of their head-to-head competition. If the goal differential among all teams tied is the same, the fewest goals allowed in the games amongst the tied serves as the tiebreaker to determine the best team within the group until only two teams remain. The final two teams use their head-to-head results to break the tie.
